Who we are

A Key Growth Engine for the
Canadian Textile Industry

Founded in 2009, the Canadian Textile Industry Association (CTIA) works to foster the growth, promotion, and visibility of Canada’s textile industry. By bringing together manufacturers, processors, and end users, it encourages collaboration, innovation, and the sharing of strategic information within the industry. The CTIA also represents its members’ interests with governments to advance key priorities such as local sourcing, access to foreign markets, and sustainable development, while supporting its members in their efforts related to innovation, modernization, and job creation.

Our vision

To enable our members to remain competitive in Canada and abroad, and to ensure that the textile and value-added materials industry is recognized by the public and decision-makers as an innovative industry that is important to the Canadian economy.
